Vincent is a recognized teacher, singer & songwriter who has toured Australia, the U.S. and Europe between 1988 and 2001. He started singing and playing piano & guitar at the age of 3½ and won his first competition at the age of 5. He has performed at several variety shows, clubs & bars throughout Melbourne as well as interstate and internationally (Europe and the U.S.) as well as other popular entertainment venues including solo performances, stage musicals and television.
Vincent occasionally works as a support act for international singers on tour. He has taught singing, piano & guitar at various music schools including primary and secondary colleges throughout Melbourne and interstate.
Vincent is an admired teacher who achieves high results (beginners to advanced) from anyone who wants and is willing to improve on their musical talent. A passionate teacher with a charismatic personality who teaches in a state of the art studio where students come to enjoy learning and where some choose to be assessed and examined in order to further their musical career. Embossed examination certificates are also awarded to all successful candidates (see examinations section).
The teaching studio is also equipped with a 16 channel recording studio where students are assisted in recording covers or their own original songs, professionally mixed and burnt to CD.
In 1994, Vincent graduated as a secondary school music teacher where he later taught around many schools, both in Melbourne and overseas. He has also worked as music director in several musicals including Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and West Side Story (to name but a few). He has also starred in many amateur musicals including Phantom of the Opera as the Phantom and Les Miserables as Javert, as well as many a fundraising event. Lessons and preparation for stage & musical theatre are also available.
Vincent has been directing and producing music concert performances for National Music School students for over 20 years. He has taught and trained 3 & 4 part harmony choirs for many years and also teaches harmony and a capella singing.
